For hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, that ye should follow his steps:

Forª even² hereuntoª¹ were ye called:ª° becauseª Christª alsoª sufferedª° forª us,ª leavingª° usª an example,ª thatª ye should followª° hisª steps:ª

Forª euen² hereuntoª¹ were ye called:ª° becauseª Christª alsoª sufferedª° forª vs,ª leauingª° vsª an example,ª thatª yee should followª° hisª steps.ª

For unto this have you been called; because the Meshiha also hath died for us, and left us this example, that in his steps we may walk.

For unto this were ye called; because the Messiah also died for us, and left us this pattern, that ye should walk in his steps.

εἰς τοῦτο γὰρ ἐκλήθητε, ὅτι καὶ Χριστὸς ἔπαθεν ὑπὲρ ὑμῶν, ὑμῖν ὑπολιμπάνων ὑπογραμμὸν ἵνα ἐπακολουθήσητε τοῖς ἴχνεσιν αὐτοῦ:

Into to-the-one-this therefore ye-were-called-unto, to-which-a-one and Anointed it-had-experienced over of-ye, unto-ye remaindering-under to-a-lettering-under so ye-might-have-pathed-along-upon-unto unto-the-ones unto-tracks of-it;
