and ye have regard to him that weareth the fine clothing, and say, Sit thou here in a good place; and ye say to the poor man, Stand thou there, or sit under my footstool;

Andª ye have respectª° toª him that wearethª° the¹ gayª clothing,ª andª sayª° unto him,ª Sitª° thouª hereª in a good place;ª andª sayª° to the¹ poor,ª Standª° thouª there,ª orª sitª° hereª underª myª footstool:ª

Andª yee haue respectª° toª him that wearethª° the¹ gayª clothing,ª andª sayª° vnto him,ª Sitª° thouª hereª in a good place:ª andª sayª° to the¹ poore,ª Standª° thouª there,ª orª sitª° hereª vnderª myª footstoole:ª

and you look upon him who clothed in beautiful vestments, and say to him, Sit is here well; and you say to the poor man, Stand thou there, or, Sit thou here before the stool of our feet;

and ye show respect to him who is clothed in splendid garments, and say to him, Seat thyself here, conspicuously; while to the poor man, ye say, Stand thou there, or sit thou here before my footstool;

ἐπιβλέψητε δὲ ἐπὶ τὸν φοροῦντα τὴν ἐσθῆτα τὴν λαμπρὰν καὶ εἴπητε Σὺ κάθου ὧδε καλῶς, καὶ τῷ πτωχῷ εἴπητε Σὺ στῆθι ἢ κάθου ἐκεῖ ὑπὸ τὸ ὑποπόδιόν μου,

ye-might-have-viewed-upon moreover upon to-the-one to-beareeing-unto to-the-one to-a-cloth to-the-one to-en-lamped and ye-might-have-had-said, Thou thou-should-sit-down unto-which-moreover unto-seemly, and unto-the-one unto-beggared ye-might-have-had-said, Thou thou-should-have-had-stood or thou-should-sit-down thither under to-the-one to-an-under-footlet of-me,
