So Christ also glorified not himself to be made a high priest, but he that spake unto him, Thou art my Son, This day have I begotten thee:

Soª alsoª Christª glorifiedª° notª himselfª to be madeª° an high priest;ª butª he that saidª° untoª him,ª Thouª artª° myª Son,ª to dayª have²° Iª begottenª° thee.ª

Soª also,ª Christª glorifiedª° notª himselfe,ª to bee madeª° an High Priest:ª butª hee that saideª° vntoª him,ª Thouª artª° myª Sonne,ª to dayª haue²° Iª begottenª° thee.ª

Thus also the Meshiha glorified not himself to be a High Priest; but He [invested him with that office] who said to him, Thou art my Son, I to-day have begotten thee.

So also the Messiah did not exalt himself to become a High Priest; but He [appointed him] who said to him, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.

Οὕτως καὶ ὁ χριστὸς οὐχ ἑαυτὸν ἐδόξασεν γενηθῆναι ἀρχιερέα, ἀλλ' ὁ λαλήσας πρὸς αὐτόν Υἱός μου εἶ σύ, ἐγὼ σήμερον γεγέννηκά σε:

Unto-the-one-this and the-one Anointed not to-self it-reckoned-to to-have-been-became to-a-first-sacreder-of, other the-one having-spoken-unto toward to-it, A-Son of-me thou-be thou, I this-day I-had-come-to-generate-unto to-thee;
