having become by so much better than the angels, as he hath inherited a more excellent name than they.

Being madeª° so muchª better¹ than² the¹ angels,ª asª he hath by inheritance obtainedª° a more excellentª nameª thanª they.ª

And this (person) is altogether more excellent than the angels, by so much as the name he hath inherited (is) more excellent than theirs.

And he is altogether superior to the angels, as he hath also inherited a name which excelleth theirs.

τοσούτῳ κρείττων γενόμενος τῶν ἀγγέλων ὅσῳ διαφορώτερον παρ' αὐτοὺς κεκληρονόμηκεν ὄνομα.
