who being the effulgence of his glory, and the very image of his substance, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had made purification of sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

Whoª beingª° the brightnessª of [his] glory,ª andª the express imageª of his²¹ person,ª andª upholdingª° all thingsª by the¹ wordª of hisª power,ª when he had²²° byª himselfª purgedªª° ourª sins,ª sat downª° onª the right handª of the¹ Majestyª onª high;ª

who himself is the resplendence of his glory, and the image of his Being, and upholdeth all (things) by the power of his word; and he, in his (own) person, hath made purification of sins, and hath sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.
