if we are faithless, he abideth faithful; for he cannot deny himself.

Ifª we believe not,ª° [yet] heª abidethª° faithful:ª he cannotªª° denyª° himself.ª

Ifª we beleeue not,ª° [yet] heª abidethª° faithfull,ª he cannotªª° denieª° himselfe.ª

And if we believe him not, He in his faithfulness abideth; For deny himself he cannot.

And if we shall have not believed in him, he abideth in his fidelity; for he cannot reject himself.

εἰ ἀπιστοῦμεν, ἐκεῖνος πιστὸς μένει, ἀρνήσασθαι γὰρ ἑαυτὸν οὐ δύναται.

if we-un-trust-unto, the-one-thither trusted it-stayeth, to-have-denied-unto therefore to-self not it-ableth.
