I desire therefore that the younger [widows] marry, bear children, rule the household, give no occasion to the adversary for reviling:

I willª° thereforeª that the younger womenª marry,ª° bear children,ª° guide the house,ª° giveª° noneª occasionª to the¹ adversaryª° to² speak reproachfully.ª¹

I willª° thereforeª that the yonger womenª marry,ª° beare children,ª° guid the house,ª° giueª° noneª occasionª to the¹ aduersaryª° to² speake reprochfully.ª¹

I will therefore that those who are young should marry, and bear children, and conduct their households, and not give to the adversary any occasion to revile.

I would therefore, that the younger women marry, and bear children, and regulate their houses; and that they give no occasion to the adversary for reproach.

βούλομαι οὖν νεῶτέρας γαμεῖν, τεκνογονεῖν, οἰκοδεσποτεῖν, μηδεμίαν ἀφορμὴν διδόναι τῷ ἀντικειμένῳ λοιδορίας χάριν:

I-purpose accordingly to-more-new to-marry-unto, to-producee-make-unto, to-house-master-unto, to-lest-moreover-one to-a-cording-off to-give unto-the-one unto-ever-a-one-situating of-a-reviling-unto to-a-granting;
