But younger widows refuse: for when they have waxed wanton against Christ, they desire to marry;

But from the widows who are young, withhold (the election); for these become schismatical against the Meshiha, and seek to marry,

But the younger widows do thou reject; for they wax wanton against the Messiah, and desire to be married:

νεωτέρας δὲ χήρας παραιτοῦ: ὅταν γὰρ καταστρηνιάσωσιν τοῦ χριστοῦ, γαμεῖν θέλουσιν,
