For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we that are alive, that are left unto the coming of the Lord, shall in no wise precede them that are fallen asleep.

Forª thisª we sayª° unto youª byª the wordª of the Lord,ª thatª weª which² are aliveª° [and] remainª° untoª the¹ comingª of the¹ Lordª shall²° notª preventª° them which² are asleep.ª°

Forª thisª we sayª° vnto youª byª the wordª of the Lord,ª Thatª weª which² are aliueª° and remaineª° vntoª the¹ commingª of the¹ Lord,ª shall²° notª preuentª° them which² are asleepe.ª°

But this we say to you by the word of our Lord, that we who [may be] remaining at the coming of our Lord, [we] who [then may] live, will not precede those who have slept.

And this we say to you, by the word of our Lord, that we who may survive and be alive, at the coming of our Lord, shall not precede them who have slept.

Τοῦτο γὰρ ὑμῖν λέγομεν ἐν λόγῳ κυρίου, ὅτι ἡμεῖς οἱ ζῶντες οἱ περιλειπόμενοι εἰς τὴν παρουσίαν τοῦ κυρίου οὐ μὴ φθάσωμεν τοὺς κοιμηθέντας:

To-the-one-this therefore unto-ye we-forth in unto-a-forthee of-Authority-belonged, to-which-to-a-one we the-ones lifing-unto the-ones being-remaindered-about into to-the-one to-a-being-beside-unto of-the-one of-Authority-belonged not lest we-might-have-anteceded to-the-ones to-having-been-reposed-unto;
