Yes, he was sick, unto death; but Aloha had mercy upon him; but not upon him only, but upon me also, lest I should have sorrow upon sorrow.

καὶ γὰρ ἠσθένησεν παραπλήσιον θανάτου: ἀλλὰ ὁ θεὸς ἠλέησεν αὐτόν, οὐκ αὐτὸν δὲ μόνον ἀλλὰ καὶ ἐμέ, ἵνα μὴ λύπην ἐπὶ λύπην σχῶ.

And therefore it-un-vigored-unto to-nigh-belong-beside of-a-death, other the-one a-Deity it-compassioned-unto to-it, not to-it moreover to-alone, other and to-ME, so lest to-a-saddening upon to-a-saddening I-might-have-had-held.
