But I am in a strait betwixt the two, having the desire to depart and be with Christ; for it is very far better:

Forª I am in a straitª° betwixtª two,ª havingª° a desireª to² depart,ª° andª to beª° withª Christ;ª which is farªª better:²¹

For these two straiten me. I desire to be set free, that I might be with the Meshiha, and this is greatly preferable to me;

For the two press upon me: I desire to be liberated, that I may be with the Messiah; and this would be very advantageous to me.

συνέχομαι δὲ ἐκ τῶν δύο, τὴν ἐπιθυμίαν ἔχων εἰς τὸ ἀναλῦσαι καὶ σὺν Χριστῷ εἶναι, πολλῷ γὰρ μᾶλλον κρεῖσσον,

I-be-held-together moreover out of-the-ones of-two, to-the-one to-a-passioning-upon-unto holding into to-the-one to-have-loosed-up and together unto-Anointed to-be, unto-much therefore more-such superior,
