Honor thy father and mother (which is the first commandment with promise),

and this is the first commandment which promiseth. Honour thy father and thy mother,

And the first commandment with promise, is this: Honor thy father and thy mother;

τίμα τὸν πατέρα σου καὶ τὴν μητέρα, ἥτις ἐστὶν ἐντολὴ πρώτη ἐν ἐπαγγελίᾳ,
