For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife; and the two shall become one flesh.

For² this causeª¹ shall²° a manª leaveª° his²¹ fatherª andª mother,ª andª shall be joinedª° untoª his²¹ wife,ª andª they twoª shall beª° oneª² flesh.ª

Because of this a man leaveth his father and his mother, and cleaveth unto his wife, and they two become one flesh.

For this reason, a man should quit his father and his mother, and adhere to his wife; and the two should be one flesh.

ἀντὶ τούτου καταλείψει ἄνθρωπος [τὸν] πατέρα καὶ [τὴν] μητέρα καὶ προσκολληθήσεται πρὸς τὴν γυναῖκα αὐτοῦ, καὶ ἔσονται οἱ δύο εἰς σάρκα μίαν.

Ever-a-one of-the-one-this it-shall-remainder-down, a-mankind, to-the-one to-a-father and to-the-one to-a-mother and it-shall-be-cohered-toward-unto toward to-the-one to-a-woman of-it, and they-shall-be the-ones two into to-a-flesh to-one.
