Even so ought husbands also to love their own wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his own wife loveth himself:

Soª oughtª° menª to loveª° theirª wivesª asª their ownª bodies.ª He that lovethª° hisª wifeª lovethª° himself.ª

Soª oughtª° menª to loueª° theirª wiues,ª asª their owneª bodies:ª hee that louethª° hisª wife,ª louethª° himselfe.ª

So it becometh husbands to love their wives, as their own bodies. For he who his wife loveth, himself he loveth.

It behooveth men so to love their wives, as [they do] their own bodies. For he that loveth his wife loveth himself.

οὕτως ὀφείλουσιν [καὶ] οἱ ἄνδρες ἀγαπᾷν τὰς ἑαυτῶν γυναῖκας ὡς τὰ ἑαυτῶν σώματα: ὁ ἀγαπῶν τὴν ἑαυτοῦ γυναῖκα ἑαυτὸν ἀγαπᾷ,

Unto-the-one-this they-debteth, [and] the-ones men, to-excess-off-unto to-the-ones of-selves to-women as to-the-ones of-selves to-bodies; the-one excessing-off-unto to-the-one of-self to-a-woman, to-self it-excesseth-off-unto,
