Howbeit the [son] by the handmaid is born after the flesh; but the [son] by the freewoman [is born] through promise.

Butª heª¹ [who was] ofª the¹ bondwomanª was bornª° afterª the flesh;ª butª he¹ ofª the¹ freewomanª [was] byª promise.ª

Butª heª¹ who was ofª the¹ bondwoman,ª was borneª° afterª the flesh:ª butª hee¹ ofª the¹ freewoman,ª was byª [promise].ª

But he who was of the bondmaid was born according to the flesh, and he who was of the free was by the promise.

But he that was by the bond maid, was born after the flesh; and he that was by the free woman, was by the promise.

ἀλλ' ὁ [μὲν] ἐκ τῆς παιδίσκης κατὰ σάρκα γεγέννηται, ὁ δὲ ἐκ τῆς ἐλευθέρας δι' ἐπαγγελίας.

other the-one [indeed] out of-the-one of-childed-of down to-a-flesh it-had-come-to-be-generated-unto, the-one moreover out of-the-one of-en-freed through of-a-messaging-upon-unto.
