But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said unto Cephas before [them] all, If thou, being a Jew, livest as do the Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, how compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews?

Butª whenª I sawª° thatª they walked²° not² uprightlyª°¹ according¹ to² the¹ truthª of the¹ gospel,ª I saidª° unto Peterª beforeª [them] all,ª Ifª thou,ª beingª° a Jew,ª livestª° after the manner of Gentiles,ª andª notª as do the Jews,ª whyª compellest¹ thou²° the¹ Gentilesª to live as do the Jews?ª°

Butª whenª I sawª° thatª they walked²° not² vprightlyª°¹ according¹ to² the¹ truthª of the¹ Gospel,ª I saidª° vnto Peterª beforeª them al,ª Ifª thou,ª beingª° a Iew,ª liuestª° after the maner of Gentiles,ª andª notª as doe the Iewes,ª whyª compellest¹ thou²° the¹ Gentilesª to liue as do the Iewes?ª°

And when I saw that they were not walking rightly in the truth of the gospel, I said to Kipha in the presence of them all: If thou who art a Jihudoya live as an Aramoya, and not Judaically, why forcest thou the Gentiles to live Judaically?

And when I saw, that they did not walk correctly, in the truth of the gospel, I said to Cephas, before them all: If thou art a Jew, and livest in the Gentile way, and not in the Jewish, why dost thou compel the Gentiles to live in the Jewish way?

ἀλλ' ὅτε εἶδον ὅτι οὐκ ὀρθοποδοῦσιν πρὸς τὴν ἀλήθειαν τοῦ εὐαγγελίου, εἶπον τῷ Κηφᾷ ἔμπροσθεν πάντων Εἰ σὺ Ἰουδαῖος ὑπάρχων ἐθνικῶς καὶ οὐκ Ἰουδαϊκῶς ζῇς, πῶς τὰ ἔθνη ἀναγκάζεις Ἰουδαΐζειν;

Other which-also I-had-seen to-which-a-one not they-correct-footeth-unto toward to-the-one to-an-un-secluding-of of-the-one of-a-goodly-messagelet, I-had-said unto-the-one unto-a-Kefas in-toward-from of-all, If thou, Iouda-belonged firsting-under, unto-nationed-belonged-of and not unto-Iouda-belonged-of thou-life-unto, unto-whither to-the-ones to-nations thou-up-arm-to to-Iouda-belong-to?
