But this I say, brethren, the time is shortened, that henceforth both those that have wives may be as though they had none;

Butª thisª I say,ª° brethren,ª the¹ timeª [is] short:ª° it remaineth,ªª° thatª bothª they that haveª° wivesª beª° as thoughª they hadª° none;ª

And this I say, my brethren, that the time now becomes contracted; and they who have wives should be as not having them;

Τοῦτο δέ φημι, ἀδελφοί, ὁ καιρὸς συνεσταλμένος ἐστίν: τὸ λοιπὸν ἵνα καὶ οἱ ἔχοντες γυναῖκας ὡς μὴ ἔχοντες ὦσιν,
