But we received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is from God; that we might know the things that were freely given to us of God.

Nowª weª have received,ª° notª the¹ spiritª of the¹ world,ª butª the¹ spiritª whichª is ofª God;ª thatª we might knowª° the things¹ that are freely givenª° to usª ofª God.ª

Nowª weeª haue receiued,ª° notª the¹ spiritª of the¹ world,ª butª the¹ Spiritª whichª is ofª God,ª thatª wee might knowª° the things¹ that are freely giuenª° to vsª ofª God.ª

But we not the spirit of this world have received, but the Spirit who is from Aloha, that we might know that the gifts from Aloha are given unto us;

Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is from God; that we might know the free gifts, which are given to us by God.

ἡμεῖς δὲ οὐ τὸ πνεῦμα τοῦ κόσμου ἐλάβομεν ἀλλὰ τὸ πνεῦμα τὸ ἐκ τοῦ θεοῦ, ἵνα εἰδῶμεν τὰ ὑπὸ τοῦ θεοῦ χαρισθέντα ἡμῖν:
