And again, Isaiah saith, There shall be the root of Jesse, And he that ariseth to rule over the Gentiles; On him shall the Gentiles hope.

Andª again,ª Esaiasª saith,ª° There shall beª° a rootª of Jesse,ª andª he that shall riseª° to reign overª° the Gentiles;ª inª himª shall²° the Gentilesª trust.ª°

And again, Eshaia hath said, There shall be a root of Jeshai, And he who shall arise shall be the chief of the peoples; And upon him will the Gentiles hope.

And again Isaiah said: There will be a root of Jesse; and he that shall arise, will be a prince for the Gentiles; and in him will the Gentiles hope.

καὶ πάλιν Ἠσαίας λέγει Ἔσται ἡ ῥίζα τοῦ Ἰεσσαί, καὶ ὁ ἀνιστάμενος ἄρχειν ἐθνῶν: ἐπ' αὐτῷ ἔθνη ἐλπιοῦσιν.

And unto-furthered a-Hesaias it-fortheth, It-shall-be the-one a-root of-the-one of-an-Iessai, and the-one standing-up to-first of-nations; upon unto-it nations they-shall-expect-to.
