I say then, Did they stumble that they might fall? God forbid: but by their fall salvation [is come] unto the Gentiles, to provoke them to jealousy.

I sayª° then,ª² Have they¹ stumbledª° thatª they should fall?ª° God forbid:ªª° butª [rather] through their²¹ fallª salvationª [is come] unto the¹ Gentiles,ª for to² provoke²° them² to jealousy.ª°¹

I sayª° then;ª² Haue they¹ stumbledª° thatª they should fall?ª° God forbid.ªª° Butª [rather] through their²¹ fall,ª saluationª [is come] vnto the¹ Gentiles,ª for to² prouoke²° them² to ielousie.ª°¹

But I say, Have they stumbled so as to fall? Not so: but, by their stumbling was salvation to the Gentiles, unto [the stirring up of] their zeal.

But I say: Have they so stumbled as to fall entirely? Far be it. Rather, by their stumbling, life hath come to the Gentiles, for [awakening] their jealousy.

Λέγω οὖν, μὴ ἔπταισαν ἵνα πέσωσιν; μὴ γένοιτο: ἀλλὰ τῷ αὐτῶν παραπτώματι ἡ σωτηρία τοῖς ἔθνεσιν, εἰς τὸ παραζηλῶσαι αὐτούς.

I-forth accordingly, lest they-tripped so they-might-have-had-fallen? Lest it-may-have-had-became; other unto-the-one of-them unto-a-falling-beside-to the-one a-savioring-unto unto-the-ones unto-nations, into to-the-one to-have-en-craved-beside to-them.
