God did not cast off his people which he foreknew. Or know ye not what the scripture saith of Elijah? how he pleadeth with God against Israel:

Godª hath²° notª cast awayª° his²¹ peopleª whichª he foreknew.ªª° Wot¹ ye²° notª whatª the¹ scriptureª saithª° ofª Elias?ª howª he maketh intercessionª° to Godª againstª Israel,ª saying,ª°

Godª hath²° notª cast awayª° his²¹ peopleª whichª hee foreknew.ªª° Wote¹ yee²° notª whatª the¹ Scriptureª saiethª° ofª Elias?ª Howª hee maketh intercessionª° to Godª againstª Israel,ª saying,ª°

Aloha hath not put away his people whom from before he knew. Or know you not what he saith in the scripture concerning Elia, when he cried unto Aloha against Israel, saying,

God hath not cast off those his people whom he before knew. Do ye not know, what, in the scripture of God, he said to Elijah? When he had complained to God against Israel, and said:

οὐκ ἀπώσατο ὁ θεὸς τὸν λαὸν αὐτοῦ ὃν προέγνω. ἢ οὐκ οἴδατε ἐν Ἠλείᾳ τί λέγει ἡ γραφή, ὡς ἐντυγχάνει τῷ θεῷ κατὰ τοῦ Ἰσραήλ;

Not it-pushed-off-unto, the-one a-Deity, to-the-one to-a-people of-it to-which it-acquainted-before. Or not ye-had-come-to-see in unto-a-Heleias to-what-one it-fortheth, the-one a-scribing, as it-actuateth-in unto-the-one unto-a-Deity down of-the-one of-an-Israel?
