And sailing from thence, we came the following day over against Chios; and the next day we touched at Samos; and the day after we came to Miletus.

And²° we sailed²° thence,ª¹ and cameª° the¹ nextª° [day] over againstª Chios;ª andª the¹ nextª [day] we arrivedª° atª Samos,ª andª tarriedª° atª Trogyllium;ª and the¹ nextª° [day] we cameª° toª Miletus.ª

And²° wee sailed²° thence,ª¹ and cameª° the¹ nextª° day ouer againstª Chios,ª andª the¹ nextª day we arriuedª° atª Samos,ª andª tariedª° atª Trogyllium:ª and the¹ nextª° day we cameª° toª Miletus.ª

And from thence the day after we voyaged over against Kios the island, and again the day after we came to Samos; and we tarried at Trogalium, and the day after we came to Militos:

And from there, the next day, we sailed over against the island Chios; and again, the next day we arrived at Samos, and stopped at Trogyllium; and on the following day we arrived at Miletus.

κἀκεῖθεν ἀποπλεύσαντες τῇ ἐπιούσῃ κατηντήσαμεν ἄντικρυς Χίου, τῇ δὲ ἑτέρᾳ παρεβάλομεν εἰς Σάμον, τῇ δὲ ἐχομένῃ ἤλθομεν εἰς Μίλητον:

and-thither-from having-floated-off-unto unto-the-one unto-being-upon we-down-ever-a-oned-unto of-ever-a-one of-a-Chios, unto-the-one moreover unto-different we-had-casted-beside into to-a-Samos, unto-the-one moreover unto-being-held we-had-came into to-a-Miletos;
