and he said unto them, Did ye receive the Holy Spirit when ye believed? And they [said] unto him, Nay, we did not so much as hear whether the Holy Spirit was [given].

He saidª° untoª them,ª² Have¹ ye receivedª° the Holyª Ghostª since ye believed?ª° Andª they¹ saidª° untoª him,ª² We have²° not so much asª¹ heardª° whetherª there be¹ any²° Holyª Ghost.ª

He saidª° vntoª them,ª² Haue¹ ye receiuedª° the holyª Ghostª since yee beleeued?ª° Andª they¹ saideª° vntoª him,ª² Wee haue²° not so much asª¹ heardª° whetherª there be¹ any²° holyª Ghost.ª

Have you received the Spirit of Holiness from [the time] that you believed? They answered and said to him, It hath not been heard by us whether there be the Spirit.

Have ye received the Holy Spirit, since ye believed? They answered and said to him: If there be a Holy Spirit, it hath not come to our hearing.

εἶπέν τε πρὸς αὐτούς Εἰ πνεῦμα ἅγιον ἐλάβετε πιστεύσαντες; οἱ δὲ πρὸς αὐτόν Ἀλλ' οὐδ' εἰ πνεῦμα ἅγιον ἔστιν ἠκούσαμεν.

it-had-said also toward to-them, If to-a-currenting-to to-hallow-belonged ye-had-taken having-trusted-of? The-ones moreover toward to-it, Other not-moreover if a-currenting-to hallow-belonged it-be we-heard.
