And as John was fulfilling his course, he said, What suppose ye that I am? I am not [he]. But behold, there cometh one after me the shoes of whose feet I am not worthy to unloose.

Andª asª Johnª fulfilledª° his course,ª he said,ª° Whomª think¹ ye²° that Iª am?ª° Iª amª° notª [he]. But,ª behold,ª° there cometh¹ one²° afterª me,ª whoseª shoesª of [his] feetª I amª° notª worthyª to loose.ª°

Andª asª Iohnª fulfilledª° his course,ª he said,ª° Whomª thinke¹ ye²° that Iª am?ª° Iª amª° notª he. Butª behold,ª° there commeth¹ one²° afterª me,ª whoseª shooesª of his feeteª I amª° notª worthyª to loose.ª°

And while Juhanon accomplished his ministry, he said, Whom think you that I am? I am not (he), but, behold, he cometh after me, he, the latchet of whose sandals I am not worthy to unloose.

And while John was fulfilling his ministry, he said: Who, suppose ye, that I am? I am not he. But lo, he cometh after me; of whom I am not worthy to untie his shoe-strings.

ὡς δὲ ἐπλήρου Ἰωάνης τὸν δρόμον, ἔλεγεν Τί ἐμὲ ὑπονοεῖτε εἶναι; οὐκ εἰμὶ ἐγώ: ἀλλ' ἰδοὺ ἔρχεται μετ' ἐμὲ οὗ οὐκ εἰμὶ ἄξιος τὸ ὑπόδημα τῶν ποδῶν λῦσαι.
