And all that heard him were amazed, and said, Is not this he that in Jerusalem made havoc of them that called on this name? and he had come hither for this intent, that he might bring them bound before the chief priests.

Butª allª that heardª° [him] were amazed,ª° andª said;ª° Isª° notª thisª he that destroyedª° them which² called onª° thisª nameª inª Jerusalem,ª andª cameª° hitherª forª° that² intent,²¹ thatª he might bringª° themª boundª° untoª the¹ chief priests?ª

And all they who heard him wondered, and they said, Is not this he who persecuted all those who call upon this name in Urishlem? And behold, also, hither upon the self-same (object) was he sent to bind and take them to the chief priests.

And all they that heard him were amazed; and they said: Is not this he, who persecuted all them that call on this name in Jerusalem? And lo, for this very thing also, was he sent hither, that he might bind and carry them to the chief priests.

ἐξίσταντο δὲ πάντες οἱ ἀκούοντες καὶ ἔλεγον Οὐχ οὗτός ἐστιν ὁ πορθήσας ἐν Ἰερουσαλὴμ τοὺς ἐπικαλουμένους τὸ ὄνομα τοῦτο, καὶ ὧδε εἰς τοῦτο ἐληλύθει ἵνα δεδεμένους αὐτοὺς ἀγάγῃ ἐπὶ τοὺς ἀρχιερεῖς;

They-were-standing-out moreover, all the-ones hearing, and they-were-forthing, Not the-one-this it-be the-one having-ravaged-unto in unto-a-Hierousalem to-the-ones to-calling-upon-unto to-the-one to-a-name to-the-one-this, and unto-which-moreover into to-the-one-this it-had-come-to-have-came so to-having-had-come-to-be-binded to-them it-might-have-had-led upon to-the-ones to-first-sacreders-of?
