whose soever sins ye forgive, they are forgiven unto them; whose soever [sins] ye retain, they are retained.

Whose² soeverª¹ sinsª ye remit,ª° they are remittedª° unto them;ª [and] whose² soeverª¹ [sins] ye retain,ª° they are retained.ª°

Whose² soeuerª¹ sinnesª yee remit,ª° they are remittedª° vnto them,ª and whose² soeuerª¹ sinnes yee retaine,ª° they are retained.ª°

if you forgive sins to a man, they shall be forgiven to him; and if you retain (the sins) of a man, they are retained.

If ye shall remit sins to any one, they will be remitted to him; and if ye shall retain [those] of any one, they will be retained.

ἄν τινων ἀφῆτε τὰς ἁμαρτίας ἀφέωνται αὐτοῖς: ἄν τινων κρατῆτε κεκράτηνται.

ever of-ones ye-might-have-had-sent-off to-the-ones to-un-adjustings-along-unto they-had-come-to-be-sent-off unto-them; ever of-ones ye-might-secure-unto they-had-come-to-be-secured-unto.
