Jesus answered him, If I have spoken evil, bear witness of the evil: but if well, why smitest thou me?

Jeshu replied and said to him, If wickedly I have spoken, bear witness of the evil; but if well, why hast thou struck me?

Jesus replied, and said to him: If I have spoken evil bear witness of that evil; but if well, why smitest thou me?

ἀπεκρίθη αὐτῷ Ἰησοῦς Εἰ κακῶς ἐλάλησα, μαρτύρησον περὶ τοῦ κακοῦ: εἰ δὲ καλῶς, τί με δέρεις;
