Ye did not choose me, but I chose you, and appointed you, that ye should go and bear fruit, and [that] your fruit should abide: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

Yeª have²° notª chosenª° me,ª butª Iª have chosenª° you,ª andª ordainedª° you,ª thatª yeª should goª° andª bring forthª° fruit,ª andª [that] yourª fruitª should remain:ª° thatª whatsoeverªª² ye shall askª° of the¹ Fatherª inª myª name,ª he may give¹ it²° you.ª

You have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and placed you, that you also may go (and) yield much fruit; and your fruit shall remain, because all that you shall ask the Father in my name, he will give to you.

It is not ye that chose me, but I that have chosen you; and I have appointed you, that ye also should go and yield fruits, and that your fruits should continue; so that whatever ye may ask of my Father in my name, he may give it you.

οὐχ ὑμεῖς με ἐξελέξασθε, ἀλλ' ἐγὼ ἐξελεξάμην ὑμᾶς, καὶ ἔθηκα ὑμᾶς ἵνα ὑμεῖς ὑπάγητε καὶ καρπὸν φέρητε καὶ ὁ καρπὸς ὑμῶν μένῃ, ἵνα ὅτι ἂν αἰτήσητε τὸν πατέρα ἐν τῷ ὀνόματί μου δῷ ὑμῖν.

Not ye to-me ye-forthed-out, other I I-forthed-out to-ye, and I-placed to-ye so ye ye-might-lead-under and to-a-fruit ye-might-bear and the-one a-fruit of-ye it-might-stay, so to-which-a-one ever ye-might-have-appealed-unto to-the-one to-a-Father in unto-the-one unto-a-name of-me it-might-have-had-given unto-ye.
