And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may be with you for ever,

Andª Iª will prayª° the¹ Father,ª andª he shall giveª° youª anotherª Comforter,ª thatª he may abideª° withª youª for² ever;ª¹

and I will pray of my Father, and another Paraclete will he give you, who will be with you for ever,

And I will ask of my Father, and he will give you another Comforter, that he may be with you for ever,

κἀγὼ ἐρωτήσω τὸν πατέρα καὶ ἄλλον παράκλητον δώσει ὑμῖν ἵνα ᾖ μεθ' ὑμῶν εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα,

and-I I-shall-entreat-unto to-the-one to-a-Father and to-other to-called-beside it-shall-give unto-ye so it-might-be with of-ye into to-the-one to-a-age,
