They answered and said unto him, Art thou also of Galilee? Search, and see that out of Galilee ariseth no prophet.

They answered,ª° andª saidª° vnto him,ª Artªª° thouª alsoª ofª Galilee?ª Search,ª° andª looke:²¹ forª out ofª Galileeª arisethª° noª Prophet.ª

They answered and said to him, Art thou also of Galila? Investigate, and see, that the Prophet from Galila ariseth not.

They answered, and said to him: Art thou also from Galilee? Search, and see, that no prophet ariseth from Galilee.

ἀπεκρίθησαν καὶ εἶπαν αὐτῷ Μὴ καὶ σὺ ἐκ τῆς Γαλιλαίας εἶ; ἐραύνησον καὶ ἴδε ὅτι ἐκ τῆς Γαλιλαίας προφήτης οὐκ ἐγείρεται.

They-were-separated-off and they-said unto-it, Lest and thou out of-the-one of-a-Galilaia thou-be? Thou-should-have-searched-unto and thou-should-have-had-seen to-which-a-one out of-the-one of-a-Galilaia a-declarer-before not it-be-roused.
