And there was much murmuring among the multitudes concerning him: some said, He is a good man; others said, Not so, but he leadeth the multitude astray.

And there was much altercation among the people respecting him; for some said, He is a good man; while others said, No, but he deceiveth the people.

καὶ γογγυσμὸς περὶ αὐτοῦ ἦν πολὺς ἐν τοῖς ὄχλοις: οἱ μὲν ἔλεγον ὅτι Ἀγαθός ἐστιν, ἄλλοι [δὲ] ἔλεγον Οὔ, ἀλλὰ πλανᾷ τὸν ὄχλον.

And a-murmuring-of about of-it it-was much in unto-the-ones unto-crowds; the-ones indeed they-were-forthing to-which-a-one, Good it-be, other [moreover] they-were-forthing, Not, other it-wandereth-unto to-the-one to-crowd.
