And they said, Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? how doth he now say, I am come down out of heaven?

Andª they said,ª° Isª° notª thisª Jesus,ª the¹ sonª of Joseph,ª whoseª fatherª andª motherª weª know?ª° how¹ is it² thenª that heª saith,ª°² I came downª° fromª heaven?ª

And they said, Is not this Jeshu bar Jauseph, he whose father and mother we know? and how saith this, From heaven I have descended?

καὶ ἔλεγον Οὐχὶ οὗτός ἐστιν Ἰησοῦς ὁ υἱὸς Ἰωσήφ, οὗ ἡμεῖς οἴδαμεν τὸν πατέρα καὶ τὴν μητέρα; πῶς νῦν λέγει ὅτι Ἐκ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ καταβέβηκα;

and they-were-forthing, Unto-not the-one-this it-be an-Iesous the-one a-son of-an-Iosef, of-which we we-had-come-to-see to-the-one to-a-father and to-the-one to-a-mother? Unto-whither now it-fortheth to-which-a-one, Out of-the-one of-a-sky I-had-come-to-step-down?
