For this cause therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only brake the sabbath, but also called God his own Father, making himself equal with God.

Thereforeªªª the¹ Jewsª soughtª° the moreª to killª° him,ª becauseª he²° notª onlyª had brokenª° the¹ sabbath,ª butª saidª° alsoª that Godª was hisª Father,ª makingª° himselfª equalª with God.ª

Thereforeªªª the¹ Iewesª soughtª° the moreª to killª° him,ª notª onelyª becauseª hee²° had brokenª° the¹ Sabbath,ª butª saidª° also,ª that Godª was hisª father,ª makingª° himselfeª equallª with God.ª

But on this account the more sought the Jihudoyee to kill him, not only because he had loosed the shabath, but also that of Aloha he had said that he was his Father, and had made himself equal with Aloha.

And for this, the Jews sought the more to kill him, not only because he had broken the sabbath, but because he had said of God, that he was his Father, and had equalled himself with God.

διὰ τοῦτο οὖν μᾶλλον ἐζήτουν αὐτὸν οἱ Ἰουδαῖοι ἀποκτεῖναι ὅτι οὐ μόνον ἔλυε τὸ σάββατον ἀλλὰ καὶ πατέρα ἴδιον ἔλεγε τὸν θεόν, ἴσον ἑαυτὸν ποιῶν τῷ θεῷ.
