And they said, What further need have we of witness? for we ourselves have heard from his own mouth.

Andª they¹ said,ª° Whatª needª°¹ we² any furtherª witness?ª forª we ourselvesª have heardª° ofª his ownª mouth.ª

They say, Why yet need we witnesses? for we have heard from his mouth.

They say: What further need have we of witnesses? For we have heard from his own mouth.

οἱ δὲ εἶπαν Τί ἔτι ἔχομεν μαρτυρίας χρείαν; αὐτοὶ γὰρ ἠκούσαμεν ἀπὸ τοῦ στόματος αὐτοῦ.

The-ones moreover they-said, To-what-one if-to-a-one we-hold of-a-witnessing-unto to-an-affording-of? Them therefore we-heard off of-the-one of-a-mouth of-it.
