And a certain maid seeing him as he sat in the light [of the fire], and looking stedfastly upon him, said, This man also was with him.

Butª a certainª maidª beheldª° himª as he satª° byª the¹ fire,ª andª earnestly lookedª° upon him,ª and said,ª° This manª wasª° alsoª withª him.ª

And a certain damsel saw him as he sat by the fire, and, looking at him, she said, This also was with him.

And a certain maid saw him sitting at the fire, and she looked upon him, and said: This man also was with him.

ἰδοῦσα δὲ αὐτὸν παιδίσκη τις καθήμενον πρὸς τὸ φῶς καὶ ἀτενίσασα αὐτῷ εἶπεν Καὶ οὗτος σὺν αὐτῷ ἦν:

Having-had-seen moreover to-it, childed-of a-one, to-sitting-down toward to-the-one to-a-light and having-stetched-along-to unto-it it-had-said, And the-one-this together unto-it it-was;
