and they asked him, saying, Teacher, Moses wrote unto us, that if a man's brother die, having a wife, and he be childless, his brother should take the wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.

Saying,ª° Master,ª Mosesª wroteª° unto us,ª Ifª any man'sª brotherª die,ª° havingª° a wife,ª andª heª dieª° without children,ª thatª hisª brotherª should takeª° his wife,ª andª raise upª° seedª unto his²¹ brother.ª

Saying,ª° Master,ª Mosesª wroteª° vnto vs,ª Ifª any mansª brotherª die,ª° hauingª° a wife,ª andª heeª dieª° without children,ª thatª hisª brotherª should takeª° his wife,ª andª raise vpª° seedeª vnto his²¹ brother.ª

and they questioned him, and said to him, Doctor, Musha wrote to us that if a man's brother die having a wife who hath not children, his brother shall take his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.

and said to him: Teacher, Moses wrote to us, that if a man's brother die, who had a wife without children, his [surviving] brother shall take his wife, and raise up seed to his [deceased] brother.

λέγοντες Διδάσκαλε, Μωυσῆς ἔγραψεν ἡμῖν, ἐάν τινος ἀδελφὸς ἀποθάνῃ ἔχων γυναῖκα, καὶ οὗτος ἄτεκνος ᾖ, ἵνα λάβῃ ὁ ἀδελφὸς αὐτοῦ τὴν γυναῖκα καὶ ἐξαναστήσῃ σπέρμα τῷ ἀδελφῷ αὐτοῦ.
