But he looked upon them, and said, What then is this that is written, The stone which the builders rejected, The same was made the head of the corner?

Andª he¹ beheldª° them,ª and said,ª° Whatª isª° thisª thenª that is written,ª° The stoneª whichª the¹ buildersª° rejected,ª° the sameª is becomeª° the¹ headª of² the corner?ª

But he beheld them, and said, And what is that which is written, The stone which the builders rejected is become the head of the corner?

And he looked upon them, and said: What is that which is written, The stone, which the builders rejected, is become the chief corner stone?

ὁ δὲ ἐμβλέψας αὐτοῖς εἶπεν Τί οὖν ἐστὶν τὸ γεγραμμένον τοῦτο Λίθον ὃν ἀπεδοκίμασαν οἱ οἰκοδομοῦντες, οὗτος ἐγενήθη εἰς κεφαλὴν γωνίας;

The-one moreover having-viewed-in unto-them it-had-said, What-one accordingly it-be the-one having-had-come-to-be-scribed, the-one-this, To-a-stone to-which they-off-assessed-to, the-ones house-building-unto, the-one-this it-was-became into to-a-head of-angling-unto.
