I say unto you, Though he will not rise and give him because he is his friend, yet because of his importunity he will arise and give him as many as he needeth.

I sayºº unto you,º Thoughº he willºº notº riseººº and giveºº him,º becauseº he isºº hisº friend,º yetº becauseº of hisº importunityº he will riseººº and giveºº himº as many asº he needeth.ºº

I sayºº vnto you,º Thoughº he willºº notº rise,ººº and giueºº him,º becauseº he isºº hisº friend:º yetº becauseº of hisº importunitie,º hee will riseººº and giueºº himº as many asº he needeth.ºº

I tell you if for friendship's sake he will not give him, (yet) because of importunity he will arise and give him as many as he needeth.

I say to you: If he give him not, on account of friendship, yet on account of [his] importunity, he will arise and give [him] as much as he asketh.

λέγω ὑμῖν, εἰ καὶ οὐ δώσει αὐτῷ ἀναστὰς διὰ τὸ εἶναι φίλον αὐτοῦ, διά γε τὴν ἀναιδίαν αὐτοῦ ἐγερθεὶς δώσει αὐτῷ ὅσων χρῄζει.

I-forth unto-ye, if and not it-shall-give unto-it having-had-stood-up through to-the-one to-be to-cared of-it, through too to-the-one to-an-un-dignifying-unto of-it having-been-roused it-shall-give unto-it of-which-a-which it-requireth.
