I say unto you, Though he will not rise and give him because he is his friend, yet because of his importunity he will arise and give him as many as he needeth.

I sayª° unto you,ª Thoughª he will²° notª rise²°¹ and giveª° him,ª because² he isª° hisª friend,ª yetª becauseª of hisª importunityª he will rise²°¹ and giveª° himª as many asª he needeth.ª°

I sayª° vnto you,ª Thoughª he will²° notª rise,²°¹ and giueª° him,ª because² he isª° hisª friend:ª yetª becauseª of hisª importunitie,ª hee will rise²°¹ and giueª° himª as many asª he needeth.ª°

I tell you if for friendship's sake he will not give him, (yet) because of importunity he will arise and give him as many as he needeth.

I say to you: If he give him not, on account of friendship, yet on account of [his] importunity, he will arise and give [him] as much as he asketh.

λέγω ὑμῖν, εἰ καὶ οὐ δώσει αὐτῷ ἀναστὰς διὰ τὸ εἶναι φίλον αὐτοῦ, διά γε τὴν ἀναιδίαν αὐτοῦ ἐγερθεὶς δώσει αὐτῷ ὅσων χρῄζει.

I-forth unto-ye, if and not it-shall-give unto-it having-had-stood-up through to-the-one to-be to-cared of-it, through too to-the-one to-an-un-dignifying-unto of-it having-been-roused it-shall-give unto-it of-which-a-which it-requireth.
