And by chance a certain priest was going down that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.

And a certain priest happened to go down by that way, and he saw him and passed over.

κατὰ συγκυρίαν δὲ ἱερεύς τις κατέβαινεν [ἐν] τῇ ὁδῷ ἐκείνῃ, καὶ ἰδὼν αὐτὸν ἀντιπαρῆλθεν:
