Jesus made answer and said, A certain man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho; and he fell among robbers, who both stripped him and beat him, and departed, leaving him half dead.

Andª Jesusª answeringª° said,ª° A certainª [man]ª went downª° fromª Jerusalemª toª Jericho,ª andª fell amongª° thieves,ª whichªª strippedª° himª of his raiment,²° andª woundedªª° [him], and departed,ª° leavingª° [him]¹ half dead.ª²°

Andª Iesusª answering,ª° said,ª° A certaineª manª went downeª° fromª Hierusalemª toª Iericho,ª andª fel amongª° theeues,ª whichªª strippedª° himª of his raiment,²° andª woundedªª° him, and departed,ª° leauingª° him¹ halfe dead.ª²°

Jeshu saith to him, A certain man went down from Urishlem to Jerichu, and fell among robbers, who stripped him and wounded him, and left him with little life subsisting in him, and went.

Jesus said to him: A certain man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and robbers fell upon him, and plundered him, and smote him, and left him with little life in him, and went their way.

ὑπολαβὼν ὁ Ἰησοῦς εἶπεν Ἄνθρωπός τις κατέβαινεν ἀπὸ Ἰερουσαλὴμ εἰς Ἰερειχὼ καὶ λῃσταῖς περιέπεσεν, οἳ καὶ ἐκδύσαντες αὐτὸν καὶ πληγὰς ἐπιθέντες ἀπῆλθον ἀφέντες ἡμιθανῆ.

Having-had-taken-under, the-one an-Iesous, it-had-said, A-mankind a-one it-was-stepping-down off of-a-Hierousalem into to-a-Hiereicho and unto-robbers it-had-fallen-about, which and having-vesting-out to-it and to-smitings having-had-placed-upon they-had-came-off having-had-sent-off to-half-dead.
