Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, [the same] loveth little.

Whereforeªª I sayª° unto thee,²¹ Herª sins,ª which² are many,²¹ are forgiven;ª° forª she lovedª° much:ª butª to whomª littleª is forgiven,ª° [the same] lovethª° little.ª

Wherefore,ªª I sayª° vnto thee,²¹ herª sinnes,ª which² are many,²¹ are forgiuen,ª° forª she louedª° much:ª butª to whomª litleª is forgiuen,ª° the same louethª° litle.ª

Therefore I tell thee, That forgiven to her are her many sins, because she hath loved much. For he to whom little is forgiven, little loveth.

I therefore say to thee: Her many sins are forgiven her, for she loveth much. But he, to whom little is forgiven, loveth little.

οὗ χάριν, λέγω σοι, ἀφέωνται αἱ ἁμαρτίαι αὐτῆς αἱ πολλαί, ὅτι ἠγάπησεν πολύ: ᾧ δὲ ὀλίγον ἀφίεται, ὀλίγον ἀγαπᾷ.

Of-which to-a-granting, I-forth unto-thee, They-had-come-to-be-sent-off the-ones un-adjustings-along-unto of-it the-ones much, to-which-a-one it-excessed-off-unto to-much; unto-which moreover little it-be-sent-off, to-little it-excesseth-off-unto.
