Now when the Pharisee that had bidden him saw it, he spake within himself, saying, This man, if he were a prophet, would have perceived who and what manner of woman this is that toucheth him, that she is a sinner.

Nowª when the¹ Phariseeª which² had biddenª° himª sawª° [it], he spakeª° withinª himself,ª saying,ª° This man,ª ifª he wereª° a prophet,ª² would have knownª°¹ whoª andª what mannerª of womanª [this is] thatª touchethª° him:ª forª she isª° a sinner.ª

Nowª when the¹ Phariseeª which² had biddenª° him,ª sawª° [it], he spakeª° withinª himselfe,ª saying,ª° This man,ª ifª he wereª° a Prophet,ª² would haue knowenª°¹ who,ª andª what manerª of womanª this is thatª touchethª° him:ª forª she isª° a sinner.ª

But when the Pharisha who had invited him saw (this), he thought within himself and said, Were this a prophet, he would know who this is and what is her report, for this woman is a sinner who toucheth him.

And when the Pharisee that invited him, saw it, he thought within himself, and said: If this man were a prophet, he would know who she is, and what is her reputation; for the woman that toucheth him, is a sinner.

Ἰδὼν δὲ ὁ Φαρισαῖος ὁ καλέσας αὐτὸν εἶπεν ἐν ἑαυτῷ λέγων Οὗτος εἰ ἦν [ὁ] προφήτης, ἐγίνωσκεν ἂν τίς καὶ ποταπὴ ἡ γυνὴ ἥτις ἅπτεται αὐτοῦ, ὅτι ἁμαρτωλός ἐστιν.

Having-had-seen moreover, the-one Faris-belonged the-one having-called-unto to-it, it-had-said in unto-self forthing, The-one-this if it-was [the-one] a-declarer-before, it-was-acquainting ever what-one and whither-also-whither the-one a-woman which-a-one it-fasteneth of-it, to-which-a-one un-adjusted-along it-be.
