And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? even sinners lend to sinners, to receive again as much.

Andª ifª ye lendª° [to them] ofª whomª ye hopeª°°° to receive,ª° whatª thankª haveª° ye?ª forª sinnersª alsoª lendª° to sinners,ª toª receive²°¹ as much² again.²°¹

Andª ifª ye lendª° to them ofª whomª ye hopeª°°° to receiue,ª° Whatª thankeª haueª° ye?ª forª sinnersª alsoª lendª° to sinners,ª toª receiue²°¹ as much² againe.²°¹

And if you lend to them from whom you expect to be recompensed, what is your grace? for sinners also lend to sinners, that they might be profited.

And if ye lend to one from whom ye expect recompense, what goodness is it in you? For sinners also lend to sinners, to receive adequate recompense.

καὶ ἐὰν δανίσητε παρ' ὧν ἐλπίζετε λαβεῖν, ποία ὑμῖν χάρις [ἐστίν]; καὶ ἁμαρτωλοὶ ἁμαρτωλοῖς δανίζουσιν ἵνα ἀπολάβωσιν τὰ ἴσα.

And if-ever ye-might-have-lent-to beside of-which ye-expect-to to-have-had-taken, whither-belonged unto-ye a-granting [it-be]? And un-adjusted-along unto-un-adjusted-along they-lend-to so they-might-have-had-taken-off to-the-ones to-samed.
