And Jesus said unto them, I ask you, Is it lawful on the sabbath to do good, or to do harm? to save a life, or to destroy it?

Thenª saidª° Jesusª untoª them,ª I will askª° youª one thing;ª Is it lawfulª° on the¹ sabbath daysª to do good,ª° orª to do evil?ª° to saveª° life,ª orª to destroyª° [it]?

Thenª saidª° Iesusª vntoª them,ª I will askeª° youª one thing,ª Is it lawfullª° on the¹ Sabbath dayesª to doe good,ª° orª to doe euill?ª° To saueª° life,ª orª to destroyª° it?

Jeshu said to them, I ask you which is lawful to do on the shabath, good or evil, life to save or to destroy?

Jesus said to them: I ask you, What is it lawful to do on the sabbath? that which is good? or that which is evil? to save life or to destroy [it]?

εἶπεν δὲ [ὁ] Ἰησοῦς πρὸς αὐτούς Ἐπερωτῶ ὑμᾶς, εἰ ἔξεστιν τῷ σαββάτῳ ἀγαθοποιῆσαι ἢ κακοποιῆσαι, ψυχὴν σῶσαι ἢ ἀπολέσαι;

It-had-said moreover, [the-one] an-Iesous, toward to-them, I-upon-entreat-unto to-ye, if it-be-out unto-the-one unto-a-sabbath to-have-done-good-unto or to-have-done-disrupted-unto? To-a-breathing to-have-saved or to-have-destructed-off?
