But that ye may know that the Son of man hath authority on earth to forgive sins (he said unto him that was palsied), I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy couch, and go unto thy house.

Butª thatª ye may knowª° thatª the¹ Sonª of manª hathª° powerª uponª earthª to forgiveª° sins,ª (he saidª° unto the¹ sick of the palsy,)ª° I sayª° unto thee,ª Arise,ª° andª take upª° thyª couch,ª and¹ goª° intoª thineª house.ª

But that ye may know, that the Son of man is competent to forgive sins on the earth, he said to the paralytic: I say to thee, Arise, take up thy couch, and go to thy home.

ἵνα δὲ εἰδῆτε ὅτι ὁ υἱὸς τοῦ ἀνθρώπου ἐξουσίαν ἔχει ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς ἀφιέναι ἁμαρτίας-- εἶπεν τῷ παραλελυμένῳ Σοὶ λέγω, ἔγειρε καὶ ἄρας τὸ κλινίδιόν σου πορεύου εἰς τὸν οἶκόν σου.
