And not finding by what [way] they might bring him in because of the multitude, they went up to the housetop, and let him down through the tiles with his couch into the midst before Jesus.

Andª when they could²° notª findª° byª whatª [way] they might bring²° him² inª°¹ because² of¹ the¹ multitude,ª they wentª° uponª the¹ housetop,ª and¹ let²° him² downª°¹ throughª the¹ tilingª withª [his] couchª intoª the¹ midstª beforeª Jesus.ª

Andª when they could²° notª findª° byª whatª way they might bring²° him² in,ª°¹ because² of¹ the¹ multitude,ª they wentª° vponª the¹ house top,ª &¹ let²° him² downeª°¹ throughª the¹ tilingª withª his couch,ª intoª the¹ midstª beforeª Iesus.ª

And when they found not how to bring him in because of the multitude of people, they ascended to the house-top, and sent him with his couch from the roof into the midst before Jeshu.

And when they could not thus introduce him, because of the multitude of the people, they ascended to the roof, and let him down with the couch, from the covering, into the midst, before Jesus.

καὶ μὴ εὑρόντες ποίας εἰσενέγκωσιν αὐτὸν διὰ τὸν ὄχλον ἀναβάντες ἐπὶ τὸ δῶμα διὰ τῶν κεράμων καθῆκαν αὐτὸν σὺν τῷ κλινιδίῳ εἰς τὸ μέσον ἔμπροσθεν τοῦ Ἰησοῦ.

And lest having-had-found of-whither-belonged they-might-have-had-beared-into to-it through to-the-one to-a-crowd, having-had-stepped-up upon to-the-one to-a-building, through of-the-ones of-potterings-of they-sent-down to-it together unto-the-one unto-a-reclinelet into to-the-one to-middle in-toward-from of-the-one of-an-Iesous.
