And all that heard them laid them up in their heart, saying, What then shall this child be? For the hand of the Lord was with him.

Andª allª they that heardª° [them] laid [them] upª° inª their²¹ hearts,ª saying,ª° What² manner²¹ of¹ childª shall²° thisª be!ª° Andª the handª of the Lordª wasª° withª him.ª

Andª allª they that had heardª° them, layde them vpª° inª their²¹ hearts,ª saying,ª° What² maner²¹ of¹ childeª shal²° thisª be?ª° Andª the handª of the Lordª wasª° withª him.ª

And all who heard reasoned in their hearts, and said, What is this child to be? And the hand of the Lord was with him.

And all who heard, pondered them in their heart, and said: What will this child be? And the hand of the Lord was with him.

καὶ ἔθεντο πάντες οἱ ἀκούσαντες ἐν τῇ καρδίᾳ αὐτῶν, λέγοντες Τί ἄρα τὸ παιδίον τοῦτο ἔσται; καὶ γὰρ χεὶρ Κυρίου ἦν μετ' αὐτοῦ.

And they-had-placed, all the-ones having-heard, in unto-the-one unto-a-heart of-them forthing, What-one thus the-one a-childlet the-one-this it-shall-be? And therefore a-hand of-Authority-belonged it-was with of-it.
