And the angel answering said unto him, I am Gabriel, that stand in the presence of God; and I was sent to speak unto thee, and to bring thee these good tidings.

Andª the¹ angelª answeringª° saidª° unto him,ª Iª amª° Gabriel,ª that standª° in the presenceª of God;ª andª am sentª° to speakª° untoª thee,ª andª to shew²° thee² these² glad tidings.ª°¹¹

And the angel answered and said to him, I am Gabriel, I stand before Aloha, and I have been sent to speak with thee and to announce to thee these things.

The angel answered, and said to him: I am Gabriel, who stand before God; and I am sent to converse with thee, and to tell thee these things.

καὶ ἀποκριθεὶς ὁ ἄγγελος εἶπεν αὐτῷ Ἐγώ εἰμι Γαβριὴλ ὁ παρεστηκὼς ἐνώπιον τοῦ θεοῦ, καὶ ἀπεστάλην λαλῆσαι πρὸς σὲ καὶ εὐαγγελίσασθαί σοι ταῦτα:

And having-been-separated-off the-one a-messenger it-had-said unto-it, I I-be a-Gabriel the-one having-had-come-to-stand-beside in-looked of-the-one of-a-Deity, and I-had-been-set-off to-have-spoken-unto toward to-THEE and to-have-goodly-messaged-to unto-thee to-the-ones-these;
