they shall take up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall in no wise hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

They shall take upª° serpents;ª and ifª they drinkª° anyª° deadly² thing,²¹ it shall notª hurtª° them;ª they shall layª° handsª onª the sick,ª andª they shall²° recover.ª¹

They shall take vpª° serpents,ª and ifª they drinkeª° anyª° deadly² thing,²¹ it shall notª hurtª° them,ª they shall layª° handsª onª the sicke,ª andª they shall²° recouer.ª¹

and serpents they shalt take up; and if the poison of death they drink, it shall not hurt them; and their hands shall they lay upon the sick, and they shall be healed.

And they will take up serpents; and if they should drink a deadly poison, it will not harm them; and they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will be healed.
