He had yet one, a beloved son: he sent him last unto them, saying, They will reverence my son.

Havingª° yetª thereforeª oneª son,ª his²¹ wellbeloved,ª he sentª° himª alsoª lastª untoª them,ª saying,ª°² They will reverenceª° myª son.ª

Hauingª° yetª thereforeª oneª sonneª his²¹ welbeloued,ª he sentª° himª alsoª lastª vntoª them,ª saying,ª°² They will reuerenceª° myª sonne.ª

But at last having one son, the beloved, he sent him to them; for he said, Now will they be confounded by my son.

At last, having an only and dear son, he sent him to them; for he said, Perhaps they will respect my son.

ἔτι ἕνα εἶχεν, υἱὸν ἀγαπητόν: ἀπέστειλεν αὐτὸν ἔσχατον πρὸς αὐτοὺς λέγων ὅτι Ἐντραπήσονται τὸν υἱόν μου.
